22/08/2012 - Top Shelf - Tooled Up Teens
Following a blank the previous day, which had been made worse by seeing F-15's heading to CAD, I headed back up the Bwlch on the following day. The first few hours were only made bearable by my pop-up tent. Once the weather had past it was nearly 3PM by the time the first movement arrived a BAe Hawk T1A from RAF Valley. An hour and half later another Hawk passed this time a 4 Squadron BAe Hawk T2.
Then there was the highlight of my low fly experience two Boeing F-15E Strike Eagles from RAF Lakenheath. I can still hear myself shouting F-15! They then continued to pass the Bwlch 5 times, making up for the blank the previous day.
The day ended with another BAe Hawk T1A pass, all in all a great day. Also nice to have met some great people up on the top shelf of the Bwlch.

03/08/2012 - Slow Day on the Top Shelf
As part of the family holiday my dad, brother and myself got a day up on the hillside, unfortunately was a very slow day but company made up for this. Just a 4 Squadron BAe Hawk T2 to keep us entertained and a couple of Shorts Tucano T1's although all my pictures of these are unusable!
